A new Performing Arts Center would provide an economic catalyst to downtown Greensboro and serve to:
- Increase the number of touring Broadway and musical performances
- Broaden the audiences attending performance events
- Enhance the vitality of existing restaurants and businesses downtown
- Provide an economic driver for the Triad region
- Create a venue option to accommodate growth of community arts groups
- Increase the flexibility and diversity of entertainment programming
- Build on Greensboro’s legacy as a community arts and cultural center
- Develop a state-of-the-art venue for the arts that will engage, excite, unite and inspire the community
